THE CHEREENE ALLEN, Violinist HISTORY:

Chereene Allen is a classical violinist.

She began playing the violin at the age of 6. After studying at Chethams School of Music and The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, she went on to study for a further year at the Aaron Copland School of Music in New York.

In her 20s she held the position of Principal 2nd Violin in Northern Ballet Theatre. Having worked with most major symphony orchestras in the country at present she's Number 4 1st Violin with the BBC Concert Orchestra, London. The BBC Concert Orchestra appears regularly on television and radio programmes, a few of which include Planet Earth, The BBC Proms, The BBC Music Awards,
Friday Night is Music Night and the Queen's Jubilee Concert, Buckingham Palace.

As well as being a classical violinist she have worked with countless pop and rock musicians in live gigs and on their albums including Annie Lennox, Robbie Williams, Jeff Beck, Pete Townsend, Kylie Minogue, Gary Barlow, Will-i-Am, Pet Shop Boys, Rufus Wainwright, Jamie Cullum, Il Divo, Katherine Jenkins, Paloma Faith, Tom Jones, Labrinth, Clean Bandit and many more.

More recently she had the pleasure of performing solo violin with Jeff Lynne's ELO, televised live at The Hammersmith Apollo for Children In Need Rocks 2013 and Live in Hyde Park, London on 14th September 2014 to 50.000 people.

In December 2014 she fronted a show with Manchester Camerata performing for Manchester City Fans at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.

She plays both acoustic and electric violin.

Chereene is married and have 3 children. In her spare timeā€¦(!!!) She works on her solo shows. 2015 was an exciting year for her.

Chereene played with Children in Need Rocks 2013, when Jeff Lynne's ELO played among other artists.
